Spotted a cute Thorny Devil who in the middle of the road on the way home from the Kalbarri Park gorges today (August 5). Saw him just in time to avoid sqaushing him under Wombat's tires.
We stopped quickly and went ack to snap some pics and shoe him/her/it off the road.
damn!! ... they are so cute!! beautiful colours ike someone has painted it by hand, and quite soft to touch despite the tough look. pics coming...
